ARTIST IN RESIDENCE IN JAPAN
Also!! I am thrilled to announce my upcoming artist in residence in Echizen, Fukui, JAPAN. I am invited to work at the 1500 years old paper making villages with traditional paper craftsmen. I will run a free Buddha Painting Class at the Enjyo-Ji Temple from October 11 to 18th. and will offer to paint the Paper Diety, Kawakami-Gozen. My reception and my painting performance will be on October 19th at 6:30 PM at the Okamoto Komin Kan.
日本でのアーテストインレジデンス
１５００年の伝統のある紙と神様の国、越前に福井県立大学の主催するアーティストインレジデンスのゲストとして招待していただきました。紙の神様のお祭りのほか、１１日から１８日まで円成寺さんで無料仏画教室を開催します。１９日の岡本公民館でのオープニングでは紙の神様を描いて奉納させていただきます。

ロサンゼルス市オフィシャルの壁画も工事が終わり次第、描き出せそうです。日本から帰って年内には制作に入れればと思っています。ロサンゼルスのランドマークを作画するのが今からとても楽しみです。こちらも追ってご報告します。
